bolNew web portal Bezpecneonline.cz (Safe online) hes been launched yesterday. The objective of the web is to provide young users and their teachers with competent infomation on the safer use of the Internet.

CzeSICoN - final report 2008

The first Safer Internet Awareness Node in the Czech Republic (the CzeSI project) has been officially launched in the 1st September, 2005.

The next follow up combined safer internet project CZESICON (CZEch Safer Internet COmbined Node) was launched in January 1st, 2006 by the new project consortium, which was completed by two new partners to start and operate the Internet Helpline and the Internet Hotline modules.

Children-Friendly Europe Conference: Conclusions

czOn 6–7 April 2009, the Prague Congress Centre hosted “Children-Friendly Europe”, a Czech EU Presidency conference on children’s rights held under the patronage of Michael Kocab, the Minister for Human Rights and National Minorities.

vThe Czech Ministry of the Interior in cooperation with the European Commission organised a ministerial conference ”Safer Internet for Children – fighting together against illegal content and conduct on-line” in Prague on 20 April 2009. The Czech Republic was represented by Minister of Interior Ivan Langer and the Police President, Oldřich Martinů. The conference was dedicated to the process of improving cooperation between all stakeholders in the field of promoting safer Internet and mobile communications, especially for children. At the end of the conference the participants adopted the Prague Declaration.
