Czech National Safer Internet Centre

The Czech Safer Internet National Centre (Národní centrum bezpečnějšího
internetu, NCBI) is a not for profit working NGO focused on safer internet
issues. The NCBI is operating the awareness center of the Safer Internet SIC
CZ project supported by the European Commission in the frame of the Safer
Internet program.

The project is coordinated by the CZI, which is operating the internet
hotline struggling against online illegal content and
distribution of child abuse images. Sdruzeni Linka bezpeci is the next
partner of the project, which operates the internet helpline.

The NBCI is organizing professional conferences and workshops striving to
empower teachers, professionals working in crime prevention, social workers,
parents, etc. in safer use of the Internet. A very important part of its
activities is the education and work with children and youths.

The NCBI is organizing and providing a large scale of events, educational
and other activities having a common objective to increase the online
safety.
